There's nothing more frustrating than spending time perfecting an at-home manicure only to smudge it minutes later while reaching into your purse or answering a text. Thankfully, today's quick-dry nail polishes have come a long way, with some setting in as little as 60 seconds without sacrificing shine, color payoff or wear. Whether you're squeezing in a mani before work, a last-minute event or simply don't have the patience to wait, these are 10 of the best quick-dry nail polishes for glossy results in less time.
The Best Quick-Dry Nail Polishes of 2026
essie expressie Quick-Dry Nail Polish ($10)
A 2026 NewBeauty Award winner, this polish is 100-percent vegan, 8-free (no formaldehyde, toluene, dibutyl phthalate, formaldehyde resin, camphor, ethyl tosylamide, xylene or triphenyl phosphate) and dries in 60 seconds. It also comes in 48 shades, the largest shade range I've seen in this category. This creamy, bright lilac is called "SK8 With Destiny."

Olive & June Quick-Dry Polish ($9)
Available in 19 shades plus a high-shine topcoat, this vegan, 15-free polish dried in about a minute and lasted nearly five days on my nails—even with frequent handwashing. According to the brand, the formula lasts 45-percent longer than comparable quick-dry nail polishes.

OPI RapiDry Nail Lacquer ($10)
Available in more than 35 shades, this fast-drying formula sets in about 60 seconds and features the brand's signature ProWide brush for smooth, even coverage in just a few strokes. It delivers salon-quality color with the convenience of a quick, smudge-resistant finish that’s perfect for busy days or last-minute touch-ups.

Nails.INC 45-Second Speedy Gloss ($9)
A 2021 NewBeauty Award winner for "Best Quick-Dry Nail Polish," Speedy Gloss dries in just 45 seconds and comes in a wide range of shades. The pink-coral shade pictured is "No Bad Days In Notting Hill."

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Nail Polish ($8)
This bestselling quick-dry polish dries in 60 seconds, features built-in base and top coats and comes in more than 100 shades and finishes. Pictured here from left to right are Sugar Poppy, Beet-ing Heart, ASAP Apple, Zip Wine and Cinna-snap. The collection also contains glitter-infused shades, like Shooting Star (gold with white sparkles) and Confetti Pop (pink with rainbow sparkles).

Le Mini Macaron Quick-Dry Nail Polish ($10)
Make at-home manis faster with this plant-based formula that dries in just 60 seconds. Infused with biotin and a nourishing blend of blueberry, spinach and avocado, it helps strengthen nails while delivering up to six days of glossy, smudge-resistant wear. The curved precision brush helps create smooth, streak-free application, and the vegan, 21-free formula comes in a range of fun, vibrant shades.

Revlon Ultra HD Snap Nail Polish ($8)
Revlon says you only need one coat of this quick-dry polish, and I couldn't agree more—it's that creamy and pigmented. Available in 24 shades, from fiery orange to military green (one of my personal favorites for fall and winter), it's vegan, 20-free and made with more than 78-percent naturally derived ingredients. The formula is also infused with botanicals, including spinach, avocado and green tea—and dries impressively fast. The red shade pictured here is called “Cherry On Top.”

Manucurist Green Natural Nail Colour ($14)
For those looking for a more eco-friendly option, this nail polish is vegan, cruelty-free, nontoxic and made in France with up to 84 percent bio-sourced ingredients such as potato, corn, yuca and cotton. However, that doesn't mean it compromises on quality. You still get gorgeous color and shine, and it dries super fast. This bright, orange-red shade is called “Coral Reef,” but there are dozens of others to choose from (I love “Blossom,” too).

Wet n Wild Fast AF Nail Color ($5)
With a dry time clocking in at just 30 seconds, this is the fastest-drying formula of the bunch I've tested. The brand says it lasts up to five days, though I get about three. It also features built-in base and topcoats and a super high-shine finish, making it a no-brainer for quick, no-fuss at-home manis. My favorite of the 18 shades is “Ballerina Dropout” (pictured), a classic, wearable pink.

Sinful Colors Quick Bliss Nail Polish ($9)
For those who like a little shimmer, this Quick Bliss polish from Sinful Colors dries in a minute and is infused with cherry oil to help protect against breakage. The collection comes in several shades, including “Black Cherry,” pictured here. The formula is super glossy and lasted well on my nails after two coats. Plus, no topcoat is needed.
