We’ve come a long way since the days of crackle nails and chunky tips. No matter how much progress we make in the world of nail trends, I believe Christmas and holiday nails are some of the hardest styles to perfect. There are tons of festive designs to try from bows to snowflakes and Christmas trees. But, finding a holiday nail style that isn’t too on-the-nose but still references iconic holiday imagery sometimes feels impossible. Not to fret, though! Today, the nail artist to stars like Selena Gomez and Jennifer Lopez, Tom Bachik debuted “fairy dust” nails. We’re certain these nails will take over the holiday nail circuit.

Tom Bachik’s Fairy Dust Nails Are So Sugar Plum Fairy Coded

One thing about iconic celebrity nail artist Tom Bachik is that he can take any shade, add the smallest detail and create an intriguing style. His trendsetting styles often send followers and nail fanatics rushing to the salon. His latest creation—fairy dust nails—is no exception. Today, Bachik took to Instagram to post what he (and we) believe will be a revolutionary style for the fall and winter. “A Fairy Dust mani for fall? Groundbreaking🧚🏼‍♀️✨” he wrote in the caption.

Bachik didn’t yet specify exactly what shade or pigments he used, but we have some key clues. His fairy dust manicure features a sheer, pinkish-white base with the slightest hint of shimmer. The nails truly look like an actual fairy sprinkled magic dust all over the client’s fingers. Sparkly styles can be hard to perfect, but Bachik’s fairy dust manicure adds just the right amount of glitter for a subtle, magical feel without going over the top.
