Sabrina Carpenter was one of the most highly anticipated attendees at the 2024 VMAs. The star won “Song of the Year” and sang three of her recent hits in one of the top performances of the night. Of course, she showed up looking absolutely stunning in her very singular Sabrina Carpenter way. She has been on a serving spree during the rollout of her album Short N’ Sweet, and this might have been the peak with hair, makeup and nails styled to perfection.

Carpenter wore a stunning Bob Mackie dress originally worn by Madonna in the ‘90s as a nod to Marilyn Monroe—blonde starlets have to stick together after all. She delivered her signature high-glam babydoll aesthetic with frosted eyeshadow and dewy blush. Yet, her nails were what really pulled the whole look together, perfectly complimenting the dress.

Both white nails and rhinestone nails have been trending, so we loved this look combining the two. Celebrity nail artist Zola Ganzorigt gave Carpenter the white bejeweled mani. She began by applying two coats of OPI Alpine Snow ($12) followed by one coat of non-wipe top coat.

Then Ganzorigt gently rubbed OPI Tin Man Can Chrome Powder on Carpenter’s nails. She followed that with another layer of non-wipe topcoat. To finish the look, she placed rhinestones in an ombre fashion.
