As the year comes to close, Spate has compiled search data to let us in on the most popular brands of 2023, based on monthly search volume, and many of our staple brands made the cut. Ahead, a round up of the top 10 skin-care brands of 2023, according to Spate.
2023’s Top 10 Skin-Care Brands
Coming in at number one was French skin-care brand La Roche-Posay, who experienced a whopping increase of 224.2K in average monthly searches, averaging 918.8K monthly searches throughout the year. Known for effective, skin-clearing products like the Toleriane Purifying Foaming Face Wash for Oily Skin ($19), Effaclar Duo Acne Spot Treatment ($23) and Anthelios AOX Antioxidant Serum SPF 50 ($45), La-Roche Posay is a favorite amongst celebs and fans alike. In a close second was CeraVe, with a whopping 1.5 million average monthly searches for the year, marking an increase of 160.3K.
Home to mega-viral products like the 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant ($35) and C5 Super Boost Eye Cream ($39), in third place was Paula’s Choice, who came in with an even 757K average monthly searches, followed by Glow Recipe with an increase of 104.5K average monthly searches and Drunk Elephant with a increase of 96.2K. In sixth through tenth place, respectively, was Beauty of Joseon, Cetaphil, Dior Beauty, Rare Beauty and Cosrx.
