Bob

Bobs have been trending for a while, and luckily, they’re a great look for those with fine hair. “A blunt bob is a standout choice because it adds fullness at the ends, making the hair appear thicker,” says Korab.

Angled Bob

“An angled bob can introduce dimension, with a longer front that gives the illusion of more volume,” says Korab. Professional hairstylist Artur Kirsh agrees but stresses that the angle is critical to achieving the look.

Layers

“The fun thing about layers is that they ‘re customizable. They can be short, long, choppy, invisible and frame the face—making the hair appear fuller,” says Kirsh. Layers can be added to any length of hair to add more dimension.

Pixie Cut

“While some might think it’s a masculine cut, the pixie is all about styling and is perfect for someone looking for a low maintenance, slightly edgy change,” says Kirsh. Korab thinks a textured pixie cut is a fantastic option. “It adds height at the roots while showcasing natural movement, with layers that contribute to fullness.”

Lob

If a full bob feels like too much commitment for you, we recommend the lob. “It provides dimension and volume without sacrificing length,” explains Korab. She adds that the subtle layers can enhance texture even further.

Shag

Shag cuts are trending right now, and according to Korab, it’s a good look for fine hair. “A shag cut with soft, choppy layers lifts the hair and prevents it from looking flat,” she says.
