For Crazy Shine
Maile Pacheco of beGlammed recommends this eggnog hair mask for shine and strength. “The coconut oil conditions your hair and adds shine and the egg protein strengthens weak hair. Your hair will be soft, shiny, and most importantly, healthy.”
What you need:
1 egg
3 tablespoons of coconut oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 plastic shower cap
Mix the contents together in a bowl. On clean, dry hair, massage the mixture into your hair focusing on your roots and ends. Pin your hair in a bun and cover it with a plastic shower cap for 30 minutes. Then rinse your hair with warm water.
For Intense Moisture
Pacheco recommends this hair mask to help promote a healthy, hydrated scalp. “It has pumpkin and coconut oil to moisturize dry, damaged hair.”
What you need:
½ cup pumpkin puree
¼ cup coconut oil
1 plastic shower cap
In a bowl, blend the pumpkin puree and coconut oil until the mixture is creamy. Apply the mixture on your scalp and damp hair and then cover it with a shower cap for 20–25 minutes. Rinse the mask out and shampoo, condition and style as usual.

What you need:
½ cup sparkling water
½ cup apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
A few drops of coconut or olive oil
Combine and mix the ingredients and transfer to a spray bottle. On dry hair, apply the mixture from root to ends until your hair is fully saturated. Lightly massage your scalp for a few minutes and allow the mixture to absorb. Rinse thoroughly with water and then shampoo clean.
