Just last week, we shared the exciting news that Tatcha is launching at Ulta Beauty—a long-awaited move for the skin-care brand beloved by celebrities and beauty enthusiasts alike. While we’re eagerly counting down to its official debut on January 1, the brand has unveiled something exciting to tide us over in the meantime: a new Brightening Collection featuring The Brightening Serum ($89) and Eye Cream ($64), available starting tomorrow, December 13.
Tatcha has been flooding its social media feeds with the launch news, introducing its aesthetically pleasing (as always), orange-hued products to its one million (and counting) followers. “Meet The Brightening Serum and Eye Cream, our new brightening and firming duo made with 12-hr time-release vitamin C crafted in Japan with enzymatic technology for all-day brightening,” the brand captioned its first Instagram post about the collection.
The new Brightening Serum uses ferulic acid and Vitamin C-rich Japenese plum in its formula, and it’s “replacing Violet-C Brightening Serum with improved efficacy to brighten dull and uneven skin, visibly firm and target hyperpigmentation,” the brand revealed in a comment to a curious follower on Instagram. The now-retired Violet-C Brightening Serum earned plenty of five-star reviews in its heyday, but as of this writing, it has been pulled from both Sephora and Tatcha’s websites.
As for the Eye Cream, it’s not replacing any existing products in the line; instead, it’s a brand-new, brightening addition to the collection that’s formulated to target dark circles, under-eye puffiness, hyperpigmentation and fine lines. While you can’t shop for either product quite yet (sorry!), we’ve included photos and links below that we’ll update to make shoppable on launch day tomorrow.
