Ever since the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics last week, Team USA has been pretty much the only thing on our mind. While there are dozens of events to keep up with, gymnastics has been most of our favorites thanks to the incredible line up of talent, including the aptly named “GOAT,” Simone Biles.
While we know that the 27-year-old gymnast is invincible on the mat—after all, she is the most decorated gymnast of all time—she is, at the end of the day, a human just like us. In a TikTok “get ready with me” video for the 2024 Olympics trials, Biles let viewers in on her makeup routine, revealing in the process that she struggles with sensitive skin on her lips and, as a result, can only trust these three brands.
Simone Biles’ Tried-and-True Lip Brands
It can be hard to imagine Simone Biles struggling with anything, as we’re so used to seeing her in superhuman form demolishing her tricks on the beam, bars, vault and floor. But, as she revealed in her pre-trials TikTok, even the greatest of all time isn’t immune to skin struggles, letting followers in on the fact that she has extremely sensitive lips, and even asking them for help.
“My lips are allergic to almost every single product,” she began, “They’ll break out really bad with lip stains, lipsticks, lip glosses, except for like three brands.” What three brands can you guarantee are on Biles’ lips? Laneige, NYX and Charlotte Tilbury, she reveals, holding what appears to be the famous Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner ($25).
