Sephora stores are getting mini-makeover.
As announced today, the beauty retailer is rolling out a new “boutique” store concept, called Sephora Studio, and it’s a much smaller—as in less than half the store size of a typical Sephora—than what you’re used to.
“In today’s retail environment, where very little is constant and clients’ expectations are ever-evolving, one thing has remained true for Sephora: There is no better way to create meaningful connections with clients than through personalized experiences and a customized approach to beauty,” said Calvin McDonald, president and CEO of Sephora Americas, as reported on by Fast Company.
“We could not be more focused on that notion than we are with the opening of Sephora Studio. The Studio merges the best of an inclusive neighborhood retail environment with best-in-class digital tools that enable our expert beauty advisors to customize recommendations on an individual basis.”
Besides the size, Fast Company says the new store will have some cool tech features and one very big makeover offering: The Custom Makeover Plus, a 75-minute Custom Makeover that includes a skincare consultation or mini-facial.
You won’t have to wait too long for the launch, as the first Sephora Studio opens its doors this week in Boston.
