Saint Jane Beauty founder Casey Georgeson is not a fan of eye creams that pill.
So, when it came time for the former Sephora intern—she also has the not-so-shabby-resume hits of brand creator for Marc Jacobs Beauty, Cupcake Vineyards, Disney for Sephora, Elizabeth and James fragrance, to name a few—to create one, she knew what to prioritize at the top of the “musts” list.
“I like when you can apply an eye cream all over,” she says. “And, I like when it actually brightens—that’s what makes the eye area look better.”
Today, Georgeson rolled out her “perfect creation,” the Bright Repair Eye Cream ($65) at Sephora. The potent vitamin-C-meets-green-tea-meets-collagen-meets-powerful-botanicals concoction hits all the boxes Georgeson wanted—down to the glass sustainable jar (she delayed the launch to get it exactly right) and the high level of CBD she insists every product in her line has.
The “meticulously-clean” gel-cream also hits Georgeson’s number-one wish-list item: It works.
The silky-smooth formula sinks right in, does a number on puffiness, and effectively brightens on-contact—without being greasy or teetering on the edge of smearing everywhere else on your face like some gels tend to do. “I didn’t want to compromise,” Georgeson says. And that she did not.
