Nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in Only Murderers in the Building, Selena Gomez walked tonight’s red carpet with a major glow in tow. While her top-selling Rare makeup certainly played a role in her megawatt glow, it’s the singer’s radiant skin that stole the show.
To enhance Gomez’s already-beautiful complexion, celebrity makeup artist Hung Vanngo prepped the actress and singer’s skin with some solid skin care before moving onto makeup. Vanngo used OLEHENRIKSEN’s Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum, Banana Bright+ Eye Creme, Strength Trainer Peptide Boost Moisturizer and Barrier Booster Orange Ferment Essence, but the star of the show was the brand-new HydraBarrier Nourishing Face Oil ($58).
“I love the new oil with skin-supporting peptides and pure berry oils that help to lock in hydration all day and extend the wear of makeup,” says Vanngo of the oil that just hit shelves today. But the makeup artist’s innovative application method was the key to the second-skin finish seen on Gomez. “To get that radiant, glowing complexion,” Vanngo shared on Instagram that he mixed “a little of the oil with the foundation” before applying to the skin.
