Ali Wong stepped out for tonight’s 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards looking like she was ready for a Saturday night.
Dressed in a show-stopping diamond-embellished gown, the 41-year-old—who is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series for Beef—paired the look with a super sleek ponytail, courtesy of celeb hair stylist Clay Hawkins using Shark Beauty tools, Living Proof and Bellami.
Wong’s go-to makeup artist, Daniel Martin, used Tatcha for skin, and we hear from the glam notes that the goal was to be “impactful and clean, complimenting the gown, but not distracting from its beauty.” Wong’s skin-care prep was an all-star Tatcha lineup, including the Hinoki Body Milk $(25), The Texture Tonic Liquid Exfoliating Treatment ($35), The Essence ($110), The Water Cream ($72), The Liquid Silk Canvas ($54), Luminous Dewy Skin Mist ($49), Gold Camellia Beauty Oil ($98) and The Kissu Lip Mask ($29). “Nothing creates a makeup base like this lineup,” Martin gushes.
One secret behind the shiny, pulled-back pony: Hawkins started by applying a “generous” amount of Living Proof Full Thickening Blow-Dry Cream ($32) and a tiny amount of Living Proof No Frizz Vanishing Oil ($33) to damp hair.
