When we see Rosamund Pike cast in a film we know the odds are she’ll steal every scene, likely in a slightly sinister way. The star is often embodying a powerful female player who’s not necessarily considered to be the “good girl,” but is always the most entertaining to watch. Luckily, the only thing Pike has in common with her most recent character, Elspeth of Saltburn, is their love for luxury.
As Elspeth says in the film, she has “a complete and utter horror of ugliness,” and to avoid this circumstance, we’re sure she sticks to a long skin-care routine. We think Pike took a page out of her character’s book when it comes to living decadently.

For the Critics Choice Awards, Pike’s skin was prepped with celeb-loved Augustinus Bader skin care, which we could totally see having a spot on Elspeth’s counter. Celebrity makeup artist Melanie Inglessis said Pike’s look tonight “was all about skin,” so, of course, she brought out the top-shelf skin care.
First, Pike wore The Eye Patches ($130), letting them work their magic while her hairstylist started to work. Then Inglessis added The Eye Cream ($225) “to help brighten and hydrate skin” and applied The Rich Cream ($300) with a gentle face massage to ensure the cream sunk in. To absorb any excess oil, Inglessis made sure to dab a tissue over Pike’s face before beginning on her makeup. Pike’s face isn’t where the luxury skin care stopped. The star was lathered in The Body Cream ($190) to finish the stunning, back-baring look.
