From trends like boyfriend blush to sunset blush to dozens upon dozens of new launches in formats like cream, powder, liquid and more, blush has become one of the most versatile and sought-after makeup products as of late.
In the age of TikTok, it doesn’t take much for a product to completely takeover the industry, but the amount of searches for a SKU does often speak to the legitimacy of the formula. Tackling the blush boom head on, new research from Glossy x Launchmetrics showed that this brand has beat out the competition for the most talked-about blush.
Rhode Pocket Blush: The Product Leading the Blush Boom
For a long while, brands like Rare Beauty and Benefit were the front runners in the world of blush, with their Soft Pinch and Benetint products, respectively, amassing tons of five-star reviews and gaining dozens of celebrity fans along the way. But, Hailey Bieber’s brand Rhode has been shaking up the industry since its launch, and the brand’s most recent foray into the world of blush has proved their hold on consumers to be as strong as ever.
This past July, Launchmetrics compiled data on the top five buzziest blushes based on overall media impact value, and found that Rhode’s Pocket Blushes edged out the competition despite being one of the newest launches. “Despite launching just this June, [Rhode’s Pocket Blush] quickly became the most talked-about blush on the market, demonstrating heightened consumer enthusiasm for new products in this category,” explains Launchmetrics CMO Alison Bringé. Rare Beauty and Benefit followed close behind, but Rhode’s Pocket Blush has safely secured its position as blush of the summer.
