Twitter user, Katie Wright, recently noticed what seemed to be a pimple on her face, Pedestrian TV reports. Although, after tugging and squeezing at the inflamed area, Wright realized something was seriously wrong. “A week ago I decided to pick at what I thought was a giant under the skin pimple because it had been hurting for a while and got too painful to ignore,” she wrote on Twitter. “Within an hour my entire face swelled up and HURT. It felt like something was going to burst out of my skin.”

After rushing to the emergency room, Wright was informed that what she thought was a pimple was actually Cellulitis, a form of Staph infection that doctors presumed she had contracted from a dirty eyebrow brush. “Since [the infection] was on my face, there was a huge risk of it spreading to my brain or my eyes causing me to go blind,” Wright explained.
