Whether you’re an avid Bravo TV watcher or not, you know as a beauty lover that the ladies of the network have some of the best-kept beauty secrets in the industry. From Real Housewives to the Summer House girls and the ladies of Southern Charm, the women of Bravo are always looking good and aging like fine wine.

When it comes to Bravo stars who truly define the idea of “aging backwards,” Patricia Altschul takes the cake. At 83 years old, the socialite and Southern Charm star doesn’t look a day over 40. True to her generous southern ways, yesterday the TV personality took to Instagram to share her six tricks for looking great at 80, and we are taking notes.

Patricia Altschul’s Six Secrets for Looking Youthful at 83

Dressed in a gorgeous purple gown with her full, healthy hair cascading over her shoulders, Altschul posed for a selfie on Instagram and used the caption to provide some of her biggest tips for “old ladies over 80.” To start, she wrote, “Your eyebrows frame your face so tint and groom them. Scraggly white eyebrows scream ‘old crone.'” Continuing on, she urged to, “Cover upper arms and thighs,” noting that “Crepe Erase doesn’t work, I can attest to that.”

In terms of makeup, Altschul says, “Avoid red lipstick that bleeds into the cracks, unless you’re inspired by ‘Whatever Happened to Baby Jane.'” Next, “Get a good bra to hike up those girls. Nothing looks more matronly than saggy boobs.” If you’re struggling with aging hands, Altschul prescribes big jewelry: “Big jewelry distracts from aging hands. And my motto with jewelry is always the bigger the better.” Her final word to the wise: “For God’s sake don’t puff your lips up like a blowfish (this one applies to any age).”
