This weekend Hollywood’s biggest A-listers congregated in Los Angeles for the 4th Annual Academy Museum Gala. The event, which honored Rita Moreno, Paul Mescal and Quentin Tarantino, delivered no shortage of jaw-dropping fashion and beauty moments from celebs like (still-blonde) Kendall Jenner, Demi Moore, Ayo Edbiri, Olivia Wilde, Selena Gomez, Uma Thurman, Cynthia Erivo, Kaia Gerber, Sandra Oh, Nicole Kidman and many more.

The looks of almost every star that attended are worthy of a second look, but Wilde’s green lace, full-skirted Erdem dress and Tiffany jewels paired with laid back waves and rockstar eye makeup stopped me in my tracks. The Erdem gown and Tiffany choker may not be anywhere near my budget, but in a real high/low masterclass, Wilde’s makeup artist Melanie Inglessis paired the designer fashions with a viral $25 foundation.

“For Olivia Wilde at the Academy Gala, we really wanted to concentrate on flawless skin with a little subtle rock [and] roll eye and a nude lip,” reveals Inglessis. “TIRTIR Red Cushion Foundation is a game changer! It feels likes skin and it’s so lightweight, but the coverage is amazing with a blurring effect for this flawless skin. It’s perfect for red carpet as it also has a stay power! Star product!”

TIRTIR’s Mask Fit Red Cushion Foundation is Amazon’s top-selling foundation. With over 10,000 five-star reviews on Amazon, the K-beauty cushion compact is renowned by shoppers for its 72-hour coverage, lightweight feel and buildable semi-matte finish, ideal for achieving a radiant glass skin look. (Plus, its unique egg-shaped puff covers every nook and cranny, especially around the nose, eyes, and mouth, so the application is seamless.) This breathable foundation, infused with glow-enhancing hibiscus and red propolis extracts, delivered “flawless yet long lasting coverage” to Wilde’s complexion, adds Inglessis. (Wilde’s specific shade is 22N.)

Other TIRTIR products Inglessis used on Wilde for the big event were the Ceramic Milk Ampoule serum (“to nourish the skin and give it a glow”), Glossy Coating Mist (“after the makeup to give a glowy glossy finish to the skin”) and the Waterism Glow Tint in Mauve Rose for a hydrated and plump nude lip.
