Nicole Scherzinger has a signature look: bronzed, dewy skin. Although it’s all the rage right now, Scherzinger tells MindBodyGreen she’s “always loved a really dewy [look].” She says this is due, in part, to her pigment as a Hawaiian Filipino woman. “I don’t like a lot of powder, just really dewy, illuminating, and highlighted skin.” Scherzinger shared some of her favorite products to achieve that glow.
“Cut to a couple of years ago before all these influencers came out with eight million makeup tutorials—these were all secrets,” says Scherzinger. “You know, adding highlighter to your moisturizer or to your foundation, all these illuminating glows. But now I feel like everybody does all this stuff all the time, so it’s not as much [of a beauty secret].”
Scherzinger says she’s always liked the Laura Mercier Natural Skin Illuminator ($53) because it’s nice and light, and she tends to avoid wearing foundation often. For even more of a highlight, she uses Anastasia’s Liquid Glow ($25). She loves it because it’s small, compact and has a lightness to it. “The gold color is really warm,” she adds. Recently, Scherzinger added a new highlighter to her supply, About-Face Light Lock Highlight Fluid.
As for skin care that helps Scherzinger glow, she’s loyal to one brand—Dr. Barbara Sturm. “Since I’ve hit my 40s, my skin has gone to sh*t. I’m allergic to everything. I don’t know how it happened, but somehow her products help my allergies in my skin. It helps the irritation; it helps everything,” says Scherzinger. “Honestly, her products are like medicine for my skin. It evens it out and makes it more glowy.”
