New Fragrances to Try This Month
Victoria Beckham Beauty 21:50 Rêverie Eau de Parfum (Starting at $200)
This ultra-luxe, genderless fragrances captures the essence of a sentimental trip Beckham took with her husband David in 2001 to the remote island of Java. The woody-amber scent is seductive and warm, yet also earthy in a sophisticated way. It presents an unexpected take on vanilla as well.
“21:50 Rêverie represents a profound instant of change in my life in 2001,” says Beckham. “With this fragrance—a dark, raw vanilla—I am taken right back to an otherworldly night on the island of Java where thousands of tea candles surrounded us. A luscious, earthy scent was in the air and the flames twinkled like flickers of my new life ahead.”

Dossier Free the Musk ($34)
The brand’s first-ever musk note, created by the Dossier Creative Lab, is the highlight in this new genderless fragrance. It’s warm and romantic and perfect for the colder weather that’s creeping in. Dossier describes it as “a hug that makes every inch of your skin feel warm and alive.” Who doesn’t want that? Also, if you’re looking for a new fragrance and not sure where to start, you can take a scent quiz on the brand’s website to find the right fragrance for you.

Kayali Wedding Silk Santal – 36 (Starting at $32)
Founder Mona Kattan created this warm-floral fragrance for her wedding day (she was wearing a silk dress, hence the name), but it became so popular that it sold out. This month, it’s been restocked, but only for a limited time, so snag it while you can! The addition of “36” in the name represents the number of modifications it took to create the perfume.
“Every time I spray this fragrance, I’m instantly transported to the most special day of my life,” says founder Mona Kattan. “I want everyone to have that feeling; for these fragrances to take you to a precious shared moment of love.”

Le Monde Gourmand Confetti Dorés ($25)
In celebration of the brand’s 10th birthday, we get this yummy fragrance treat. It’s decadent, indulgent and playful if you love gourmand fragrances, which, as a category, has been trending big lately.
“The perfume composition of Confetti Dorés was designed like a layer cake, with each tier adding a special dimension to create the most delicious bite,” says Brice Kadari, vice president brand lead. “We imagined moist hazelnut cake, a layer of soft pink rose, and a finish of vanilla frosting with a touch of sprinkles—edible, but also elegant and unexpected. It was the perfect way to fete Le Monde Gourmand’s 10 years of creating addictively indulgent scents.”

Byredo Mojave Ghost Absolu de Parfum ($280)
The first launch in the brand’s new Absolu de Parfum collection, this woody, genderless fragrance is a more intense version of the original best-seller. Celebrating its 10-year anniversary, Mojave Ghost is inspired by the soulful beauty of the Mojave Desert. Think wilderness, nature and bare skin. This new, more concentrated version also features a new textured cap design inspired by traditional woodwork.

AERIN Rose Cocoa Eau de Parfum ($275)
Two of founder Aerin Lauder’s favorite things—roses and chocolate—come together in this limited-edition fragrance that makes the perfect holiday gift for the perfume connoisseur in your life. It’s luxurious and just sweet enough. “Rose de Grasse is such a timeless fragrance that I was inspired to create an even more decadent parfum, Rose Cocoa,” says Lauder. “The deep, rich notes of chocolate combined with the original rose notes are a perfect blend of my two favorite things.” We also love the brown velvet bow on the bottle.

Dark Cocoa, Champagne Truffle, Sparkling Mandarin, Oud, Rose Centifolia
Dries Van Noten Vanille Camouflage Eau de Parfum ($340)
“It’s so unusual to see a vanilla in its very original shape, and so green!” says perfumer Alexandra Monet. “This is exactly what the fragrance translates.” It’s a genderless, modern interpretation of a green-vanilla (the fresh green essence comes from galbanum) that you will try to put your finger on, but have not experienced before. We’re also loving the beautiful watercolor art on the porcelain base of the bottle, which is topped with green glass.

Jimmy Choo I Want Choo Le Parfum (Starting at $38)
A floral-woody fragrance with a juicy top note of pear (one of my personal favorite top notes in a fragrance), this scent is flirty, yet sophisticated. It has that addictive quality we expect from Jimmy Choo fragrances. Marie Salamagne, principal perfumer, says, “It’s as mysterious and unique as the golden gardenia and the jasmine flower. It offers the woman who wears it a sensual and enigmatic signature.” Amandine Clerc-Marie, the senior perfumer who worked alongside Salamagne, adds, “A fragrance as glamorous as it is irresistible, I Want Choo Le Parfum is radiant and intoxicating. A fragrant gesture to shine, a burst of sensuality in the night.”
