undreds of products come across our editors’ desks every month, but not all of them deliver on their claims or live up to the hype. (Not everything that goes viral on TikTok is a miracle worker.) This is our exclusive curation of the best-in-class beauty products receiving rave reviews from our team and hitting shelves right now. From a world’s-first acne serum to CeraVe’s first hair-care collection, we’ve got the inside scoop on all the newness.
The Best New Beauty Products Launching This Month
Dolce&Gabbana Beauty Lip Stylos ($45 each)
Chic and sleek, these new lippies are available in three formats: matte, satin and sheer. My Juicy Sheer is made with Italian olive oil, provides instant shine and hydration, and comes in 12 sheer shades. My Comfy Matte gets its creamy texture from Sicilian avocado and hyaluronic acid, and has a rich color payoff. And lastly, My Sculpt Satin comes in 18 shades and gives the lips a sculpted look with a subtle glow. Each collection boasts the brand’s beautiful gold packaging, which reflects its fashion house.
CeraVe Hydrating Shampoo ($9)
From the makers of that famous tub of moisturizer that so many derms recommend comes a new foray into hair care. Leveraging L’Oréal’s 100-plus years of hair expertise, the brand created a collection focused on scalp health that delivers soft, healthy hair. Developed with dermatologists, this clinically tested, fragrance-free shampoo contains the same three essential ceramides that are at the core of the brand’s skin-care collection.
“Having worked closely with CeraVe hair-care team from the very start, I have seen the exceptional efficacy and results this line delivers,” says New York dermatologist Doris Day, MD. “Our top priority was to thoughtfully create products that are both effective and gentle, ensuring they are suitable for everyone. I’m incredibly proud to recommend this range to my patients, knowing it meets their diverse needs with care and precision.”
goPure Sculpt & Tone Arm Cream ($49)
Inspired by the brand’s viral neck cream (you may have scored it during BeautyPass Free Gift Friday as well), this hydrating formula helps to tighten and smooth the appearance of the skin on the arms in four to eight weeks. If you’re someone concerned with crepiness, this is the product to try.
“When our Neck Cream went viral, we saw a huge opportunity to bring firming results to the body-care category,” says Bethany Crellin, vice president of marketing at goPure. “We spent months formulating the proprietary ingredient complex for this Arm Cream to get it just right. After seeing incredible clinical results and before-and-afters, we’re so excited to share it with everyone!”
Wonderskin FYP Powder ($26)
Setting powders are back in a big way. And no, these modern formulas don’t leave a ghostly cast on the skin. They mattify and perfect in all the right ways. This new, talc-free pressed powder is among the latest in the bunch to grab our attention for multiple reasons. It’s a wonder worker in the pore-blurring department, but not so much that you lose the natural beauty of your skin, and it mattifies excess shine without making your makeup look flat.
It comes in one translucent shade that the brand describes as having a “feather-light finish for any skin tone.” Makeup artist Oksana Cherepania says, “It has an incredibly lightweight texture that applies seamlessly to the skin without adding any heaviness. This allows the product to remain undetectable on the face, maintaining a natural look without creating a ‘layered’ effect. The universal color of the product adapts effortlessly to any skin tone, which makes it incredibly versatile. I love using it in my work because it instantly removes unwanted shine, eliminating the need for frequent touch-ups throughout a shoot. It’s suitable for everyone, providing a soft matte finish that keeps the skin looking fresh and polished without interfering with the overall makeup look.”
Kopari Gradual Self-Tanning Body Mousse ($36)
Self-tanners have come so far from the days of Oompa-Loompa orange and streaky stains. Whether you live in a warm climate year-round, you’re going on a tropical holiday vacation or you just like to maintain a beachy bronze, this new mousse delivers. We love the mess-free mousse texture (no dripping or leaking; apply it with a mitt) and quick dry time (about 30 seconds). However, one of our favorite attributes is the guava scent. There’s no nasty self-tanner smell like formulas of the past.
Like with many other self-tanners, it’s best not to shower or sweat for at least eight hours after applying the mousse. Give the tan time to develop for sun-kissed, even color. And, always keep your skin moisturized to preserve your faux glow as long as possible.
Emma Lewisham Supernatural Blemish Serum ($80)
The New Zealand brand is turning heads with this new innovation: a first-of-its-kind skin-care serum containing a patented probiotic (Micrococcus luteus) that promotes clear skin. Identified by a microbiology scientist, this is the “world’s first probiotic strain discovered on living, healthy, human skin.” The formula is backed by both in vivo and in vitro clinical studies, and when using it twice a day, 79 percent of participants experienced a reduction in their moderate-to-severe blemishes.
In one pump of serum, the skin gets more than 350 million live probiotic cells. “This pioneering serum works by crowding out the bacteria associated with blemishes and acne,” says founder Emma Lewisham. “So to prevent further breakouts from appearing, we recommend continuing to use this serum even after your breakout has cleared. It also provides you with many additional skin health benefits beyond clear skin.” These include less dryness, excess sebum and redness, which many people (not just acne sufferers) also count as concerns.
Milani Keep It Full Glossy Plumping Balm ($16)
If a lip gloss, a lip balm and a lip plumper had a baby, this would be it. It’s the ultimate multitasker with a creamy, moisturizing feel thanks to mango seed butter and a trio of oils: apricot, pomegranate and Kalahari melon. The brand added Maxi-Lip for plumping, but the shine also helps, making the light bounces off your lips in all the right places. It comes in 12 shades, and my personal favorite is Ballet for everyday wear.
We love that the brand conducted clinical testing, too, and the results are impressive: 100 percent of participants saw a clinically measured increase in lip by an average of 22.5 percent after just one application, and lip volume and smoothness were increased after four weeks of use.
Selfmade The Rumination Recovery Balm ($42)
The brand’s first new launch in more than two years is a really good one. “This is our evolution from just being skin- and beauty-focused, to more psycho-somatic focused on well-being and the whole body,” says founder and CEO Stephanie Lee. When muscle tension and pain distract you from daily tasks, or even just the positive vibes you deserve in this crazy world, reach for this therapeutic balm.
The vegan, moisturizing formula squeezes out of the tube in a semi-solid format and then melts into an oil on your skin as you massage it in. You’ll also feel a nice warming sensation. “Think Icy Hot, but holistic,” the brand tells me. It’s free of synthetic fragrance, but boasts a natural scent of palo santo and lavender.
Vichy Dercos Selenium Sulfide Anti-Dandruff Shampoo ($20)
The number-one dermatologist-recommended anti-dandruff brand in Europe is now available in the U.S., which provides a new option for the 1 in 5 Americans suffering from dandruff. To tackle flaking at the root, this proprietary shampoo relies on its hero ingredient, micronized selenium sulfide. It also contains hydrating glycerin and soothing niacinamide for optimal scalp health, even on sensitive scalps and color-treated hair.
“I see patients with dandruff almost every day in my practice,” says Canton, MA dermatologist Uchenna Okereke, MD. “But, what patients keep telling me is that they dislike their current dandruff shampoos because of how they make their hair feel. That’s why I’m so excited about Vichy Dercos. Vichy has years of proven science, so not only do I trust it will work, but Dercos also leaves the hair feeling soft, shiny and healthy, which is why I know my patients will actually use it when I recommend it.”
Moon Juice Cherry Sleepy Magnesi-Om ($49)
On the fifth anniversary of the brand’s best-selling Magnesi-Om, the brand is debuting a new cherry-flavored formula that is focused on better sleep. If you’ve tried the blackberry powder, you know how well it works! Developed with a biochemist and chock-full of organic cherries, it combines 0.3 milligrams of plant-based melatonin from organic alfalfa with magnesium glycinate and L-theanine to promote deep sleep without next-day drowsiness.
“Sleep impacts everything from memory to metabolism,” says founder Amanda Chantal Bacon. “Quality of sleep equals quality of life! Women are 40 percent more likely to experience insomnia than men, due to hormonal shifts during menstruation, pregnancy, perimenopause, caregiving and mental health. After having my kids, I realized how much I’d taken sleep for granted. Postpartum was brutal on my sleep, mood and brain. The melatonin on the market at 3 milligrams or more was not a solution for me with the groggy morning hangovers, dependency and crazy nightmares. Immediate sleep help, without the hangover, that I could take regularly was a real need. Whether postpartum, perimenopause, jet-lagged or jacked up on late-night blue light, this works!”
