Little House on the Prairie star Melissa Gilbert has been outspoken about her anti-aging efforts, and now she says she’s choosing face cream over a facelift to smooth out lines and wrinkles.
The 54-year-old TV veteran has previously confessed to quitting Botox Cosmetic and fillers and having her implants removed in efforts to age naturally. Citing the pressure to look perfect in Hollywood, she once said, “I went down the road that everyone else does—nose job, boob job, fillers and Botox, but no more!”

Now, she’s shared with Today’s Megan Kelly that she prefers to treat the effects of aging with a two-fold approach, embracing the changes and turning to good skin care.
“There are moments when I look at my profile or look at my face and see a wrinkle, but it’s mine and it’s there and it’s part of who I am,” said Gilbert. For the good skin care part, she says she reaches for a brand that is made from all-natural farm-to-face ingredients. “No makeup, sunscreen, I use a really nice skin care line. I use Éminence and it’s all organic.”
