Celebrities frequently partner with skin care companies in the form of brand ambassadors, but for one of Hollywood’s elite to become a part-owner of a skin care line? Now, that’s not exactly common. However, 58-year-old famed singer, Marie Osmond, did just that, becoming the part owner of the brand MD Complete Skincare.

MD Complete is a product line created to provide dermatologist-level skin care results without actually ever having to step into a doctor’s office. After a multi-decade career in Hollywood, Osmond’s skin has been through a lot. “I’ve been in entertainment for years, under bright lights and wearing heavy makeup so my skin needs a little extra help,” she explains.
Luckily, Osmond found a product line that she swears made such a significant change in her skin that the results even compare to an in-office dermatologist treatment. “[The line] matches laser treatments—this product is like laser in a bottle,” she says. “The side-by-side images of what it can do are amazing.”
But Osmond doesn’t only rely on topical products for youthful skin, she’s tried a few in-office treatments as well. “I’ve done [fraxel] laser which has good results but it was so rough in healing,” explains Osmond when discussing the dermatologist procedures she’s tried in the past. “The recovery is brutal and I just don’t have time for it. Once I was embarrassed to go on stage even after 10 days of healing post-laser.”
Although, topical products aren’t the only way Osmond likes to nourish her skin, she says her food choices make a big difference as well. “I have a breakfast of oatmeal and berries or yogurt—I actually love to freeze blueberries because I’m an ice cream-aholic and it makes me feel like I’m eating a sorbet at night,” she says. “The antioxidants in them are so good for your skin.”
