Awards season has arrived, and so far, all the makeup and hair looks hitting the red carpet do not disappoint. One celebrity in particular, Margot Robbie, looked absolutely stunning in her minimal eye makeup and pink lip at the Golden Globes, but it turns out, there’s more to her look than just a bunch of makeup products. In fact, before the show began, makeup artist Pati Dubroff shared on Instagram that a she’d be using a strange-looking beauty tool to help prep her clients’ skin, and once you see it, you’re going to want it for yourself.

“Well prepped…” Dubroff captioned her post, showing off an array of Chanel and Sisley Paris beauty products. But it wasn’t the makeup that caught our eye; it was a two-pronged tool called the ReFa Carat ($290). Used to firm the skin, the ReFa has double-drainage rollers to replicate a “professional’s deep kneading action to beautifully tone and tighten delicate skin.”
Considering how taut Robbie’s skin looked on the red carpet, it’s hard not to want to try this pricey beauty tool out for ourselves. And because Dubroff has a wide array of celebrity clientele, we can’t help but assume it’s her secret for giving all her clients a firmer look.
