This is Us star Mandy Moore was glowing on the red carpet at the 2020 People’s Choice Awards last night, but her lit-from-within complexion wasn’t just the result of her “pregnancy glow”—she was sporting a full (but natural-looking) face of makeup from one brand: Kosas.
The fresh, modern look was created by celebrity makeup artist Kindra Mann using only Kosas on the face, eyes and lips. The “clean” beauty brand is a favorite with expecting mamas, as it bans more than 2,700 ingredients and adheres to Credo’s stringent standards.
On moisturized skin, Mann layered lightweight Kosas Tinted Face Oil in Shade 04 on the skin, which she says has a “feels like your skin” finish. “For a little added coverage, I applied Kosas Revealer Concealer in Shade 3.5 under the eyes and around the nose to brighten up her complexion,” Mann explains. “I set it all with a light powder before warming up the skin and really adding some lit-from-within glow with Kosas The Sun Show Bronzer in Light. For a beautiful peachy flush on the cheeks, I applied Kosas Color & Light Palette in Papaya 1972.”
On Mandy’s eyelids, Mann applied Kosas 10-Second Eyeshadow in Globe for a champagne-like wash of color. “For some added drama and to make the lashes really thick, I painted a coat of Kosas The Big Clean Mascara on with a brush and added a few Lashify lashes for extra fullness.”
And to complete the look, Mann chose a soft nude shade—Kosas Weightless Lipstick in Vegas—to play off the simplicity of the eye makeup.
