Between photo shoots, shows and the rush of NYFW, celebrity stylist Maeve Reilly (she counts Hailey Bieber, Ciara, Megan Fox, and more as clients) doesn’t have a ton of extra time, but, as she told us, she never skips on her self-care routine. Now, Reilly is teaming up with Colgate—a line she says she’s used for her “entire life”—for its Optic White Overnight Teeth Whitening Pen, a product that proudly claims to remove 15 years of stains in just one week all while you sleep. “I was really insecure about my teeth for a really long time,” Reilly shares. “I thought about changing them, and when I just whitened them I was like, ‘Oh, I’m cute like this.’ I’m so happy with my results.”
Current Obsessions
“I’m very obsessed with Barbara Sturm. And I also do a lot of Augustinus Bader. I use iS Clinical’s Hydra Cool Serum and I really, really like SkinMedica’s HA5 cream—it is my go-to for everything. With hair, I love all the OUAI products, but I’m very low maintenance with my style. If I actually do my hair myself, I’m not putting much in it.”
Self First
“Because I’m constantly on-the-go, it’s important for me to take time for myself. I say this all the time: If I am not taking care of myself, I can’t take care of other people—I can’t take care of my clients. I have a pretty strict morning routine as well as a nighttime routine, and that’s why I love this Colgate product so much. It’s literally just something I apply while I’m doing my skin care. I put it on my teeth, I take off my makeup, put on a mask, and I can easily whiten my teeth. It really only a few minutes and it’s something that makes me feel really refreshed come morning.”
Fall Forward
“I’m happy that people are excited about clothes again! People are out there and they’re dressing! I obviously love sweats, since I own a sweatpants company, and there’s nothing I love more than putting on sweats, but I am happy to see people expressing themselves through their clothes again. But, whatever makes you smile, whatever makes you happy, is a big thumbs up for me, no matter what you’re wearing.”
