After years of keeping fans in suspense, Lili Reinhart has finally announced her skin-care line, Personal Day, set to launch Monday, October 28, as revealed exclusively to Glossy. Per the interview, the debut collection will include five products: cleansing powder, a resurfacing peel, a face mask, a salicylic acid acne treatment, and a moisturizer.
Ahead of the launch, Personal Day has already made its social media debut with an official Instagram page, @personalday. Reinhart also took to her own platform to share the news, writing in an Instagram Story, “I’m so happy to start sharing Personal Day with all of you,” Reinhart began an Instagram Story. “This has been a labor of love, 3 years in the making.”
“I have been struggling with acne since I was 12,” she continued. “And even after all my experiences with fancy dermatologists, laser treatments, monthly facials, and 2 rounds of Accutane… I knew it was the products that I was using on a daily basis that would make the biggest difference with my skin. And there wasn’t one line out there that I felt was totally safe for my very sensitive, acne-prone skin.”
Personal Day isn’t just a skin-care line—it’s a community built to support those actively dealing with acne. “When I was a teenager trying to be an actor, [I saw pictures of] actors with gorgeous, perfect skin. [I didn’t see] actors talking about acne or skin issues,” Reinhart told Glossy. “If [these issues] were being talked about, it was on the cover of a magazine with a headline like: ‘Look at these celebrities looking f–king ugly without makeup.’”
Reinhart’s passionate about breaking the stigma associated with acne. “People associate acne with being dirty and having dirty skin, and that creates a feeling of shame. I have people who are 50 [years old] messaging me on TikTok saying, ‘Thank you for talking about your acne because I still deal with it today.’ I’m thankful that whatever I’m posting out there is resonating. And I want our line to resonate with someone who is 14, and someone who is 40.”
