Living in the public eye pretty much 24/7 and being incredibly candid about her life—I mean, we’ve seen her fertility struggles unfold on TV—it’s no surprise that Khloé Kardashian’s much-anticipated pregnancy is a hot topic right now. But what we love so much, in true Khloé fashion, is her ability to make light of some of the not-so-glamorous changes that have come along with the process of “growing a human,” as she calls it.

The reality star recently took to social media to poke fun at the recent changes to her body that she’s not really liking so much.

Although she laughs about it, Kardashian isn’t wrong in saying her stomach knows how to stretch. According to Montclair, NJ dermatologist Jeanine Downie, MD, skin does know how to stretch, especially if the person has been heavier before. “But, that is not to say thin people are more susceptible to stretch marks at all,” she adds. “We still do not know why some people get more stretch marks in pregnancy and other people get less—some women don’t get any—but we think it has to do with genetics and hormones more than anything else.”

Kardashian also commented on her cellulite, saying that although she’s always had it, it’s much more noticeable now that she’s pregnant. Dr. Downie says this is a very common side effect of pregnancy because of hormonal fluctuations, which causes weight gain, and for many, an increase in cellulite. “Another reason cellulite can get worse during pregnancy is if you do not exercise as much during those nine months,” she adds.

Expecting a baby boy this spring, Kardashian has said she’s blessed to be pregnant and wouldn’t change a thing, but she also misses her intense workout sessions and her pre-baby body she worked so hard for.
Now I am googling images of my pre-pregnancy body and I’m feigning to get back to my workouts and old body. Holy cow ??♀️
