One of the latest stars to embrace the trend is Kate Beckinsale, who recently visited the SHA Wellness Clinic in Spain with her mom. And lucky for us, she shared the highlights of their getaway on Instagram—and it’s making us want to book a stay, stat.
In the caption of her Instagram post, Beckinsale shared, “I wanted to take my mum somewhere that emphasized relaxation, detoxification, holistic wellness and reduction of inflammation as well as a beautiful and tranquil setting.” She continued, “From the moment we arrived, there was an overwhelming sense of calm and care. The holistic approach at SHA, combining modern science with ancient wellness traditions, is truly unparalleled.”
She went on to explain, “The personalized health plans, delicious and nutritious meals, and serene surroundings have left us feeling more balanced and energized and so grateful for what we have learned from their incredibly skilled practitioners.”
But above all, Beckinsale emphasized the value of one-on-one time with her mom: “I’m so grateful to have had this experience with my mum. We reconnected, laughed, danced, got squirted with a hose wearing paper pants after a seaweed body wrap and a bath filled with colored lights and learned so much about ourselves and how much we can do so much to optimize our health and well-being. Time with those we love and our health are so precious. So very grateful for this wonderful time with my mum and can’t wait to return.”
