While the procedure has been around for decades, facelifts can be an intimidating treatment for many. But, thanks to major advancements in the world of plastic surgery, the procedures of today are not your grandmother’s facelifts, as it’s now possible to undergo a variety of facelifts with minimal scarring and downtime, and incredible results.

Earlier this week, the RHONY star shared a candid Instagram video explaining her recent lower facelift and hand treatments that totally transformed her confidence.
Jill Zarin Opens Up About Plastic Surgery
Taking to Instagram with post-procedure bandages in tow, Zarin greeted followers by explaining that she is “bravely sharing” that she recently underwent a lower facelift and “a couple other tweaks.”
“I live my life openly and freely that’s why I did a reality show,” Zarin said, “and I think it’s important for people who do reality shows to be honest.” With no filter on, Zarin went on to explain how the treatments have totally transformed her confidence.
“After watching myself on The GOAT on Amazon video, (by the way I killed it this week!!) I decided I needed a lower face lift,” Zarin wrote in the caption, “I also hated my hands, so [my doctor] added fat from my legs. They look amazing! My doctor visited me the first night post-op which made me feel 1000 times better, and then again at 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday to remove the drainage, so I don’t have to go to his office until Friday to remove most of the stitches.”
Offering advice to those considering the surgery, Zarin wrote, “Every surgeon has different techniques, medications and bedside manner—all of them are critical to ask about to have a successful outcome.” Staying true to her reality show habits, the star also promised to continue sharing updates, and we will be staying tuned.
