When the duo asked the 52-year-old actress to share the “worst beauty advice” she’s ever received, the 13 Going on 30 actress’s response was as relatable as it gets—and the photo evidence to go with it is a must-see.
“I didn’t have to receive it; I am my own worst beauty advice,” she said. “If you look at any pictures of me, all the way through college, if I have makeup on, I wore my theater makeup, and it was pancake makeup on my face. I have a white circle—it’s so, so bad.” Gormley responded, “We might need a visual,” and Garner delivered, sharing a photo of herself in what appears to be her theater getup. If she truly wore that in everyday life, she’s definitely not exaggerating about its drama.
