As we count down to the official Beetlejuice Beetlejuice premiere on Friday, September 6, actress Jenna Ortega is turning heads on the film’s press tour with countless double-take-worthy looks. The 21-year-old actress, who plays Astrid Deetz in the movie, has been stepping out in statement-making archival fashion looks, from vintage Vivienne Westwood, Dolce & Gabbana, and Thom Browne, among other high-end labels. But every style moment wouldn’t be complete without the perfect glam to match. Celebrity makeup artist Mélanie Inglessis, fashion stylist Enrique Melendez, and hairstylist Bobby Eliot have teamed up to bring the concept of “soft goth glam” to life. Ahead, we’re breaking down some of her standout looks from the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice press tour. Keep checking back for the latest updates.

Natural Glam

For the movie’s London premiere, Ortega looked like a classic beauty with sleek, side-parted hair by Bobby Eliot, black winged eyeliner, voluminous, fluttery lashes and mauve-toned lipstick. Inglessis hasn’t revealed the exact makeup products she used. However, she did tag Labomme, the brand behind the popular Angle Baby Eyeliner ($20), hinting that it might have been the secret to Ortega’s perfectly sharp wings.

A Classic Red Lip and Matching Eye Makeup

Ortega stunned in a custom red Dior gown at Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’s Venice Film Festival Premiere, with the perfect glam to match. Inglessis swiped on Dior’s Rouge Refillable Lipstick ($39) in the aptly named shade, The Iconic Red. The makeup artist complemented the bold lip with red-toned eyeshadows and black eyeliner in her waterline, bringing the “goth princess” vibe to life, just as Inglessis described on Instagram.

A Bold Berry Lip and ‘Smoldering Smoky Eyes’

While on the movie’s press tour in New York City, Ortega debuted a “smoldering smoky eye,” as described Inglessis. She teamed her client’s eye makeup with a subtle flush of blush, but it was her berry lip that we needed to know the details of. The exact product behind her perfect-for-fall lip is Le Rouge Français Le Nude Wantura ($62), a refillable lipstick that uses plant-based pigments to “adapt to the natural tone and pH level of your lips.”

Grunge-Inspired With a ’90s Twist

During another stop in New York City, makeup artist Inglessis gave Jenna Ortega’s grunge-inspired look a ’90s twist. “She used a “soft smoky winged liner and a lip liner that shows,” she wrote in the caption, adding that she “actually used the same brown pencil for the lips and for the eyes (blended with a black one).”

‘Pewter Blue’ Winged Eyeliner

When you think of goth girl glam, black smudged eyeliner might be the first thing that comes to mind. But this blue winged liner is the epitome of “soft goth glam.” As Inglessis described on Instagram, she used a “pewter blue” liner paired with a “rosy” lip that strongly resembles the aforementioned Le Rouge Français Le Nude Wantura shade.
