When winter comes around, it’s time to switch from light moisturizers to heavy night creams and from brightening sheet masks to purifying face masks. But, when you can find a do-it-all product that fits in your routine no matter the season, no adjusting is necessary.
On Instagram yesterday, actress and dancer Jenna Dewan posted a photo of herself in Honest Beauty 3-in-1 Detox Mud Mask ($20), showing that she likes to keep her routine as simple and versatile as possible.
Taking a look back at 2020, at-home self-care became a necessity among beauty lovers and A-listers alike. Captioning her photo, “Wild Sunday from my home spa,” the Step Up star has learned how to dedicate some time to herself and unwind after this crazy year.
In an interview with us back in August, Dewan spilled on her other quarantine essentials. “I’ve been doing at-home self-care treatments with masks and different tools I have like microneedling and gua sha,” she told us. “My gua sha stone is from Georgia Louise—her rose quartz Butterfly Stone ($75) that she gave me. I also really like the brand OSEA. I use their Hyaluronic Sea Serum ($88), they have a great cleanser, and they have this incredible Body Oil ($48) that I’ve used every single day—it smells so good and it’s all-natural.”
Dewan also admitted that using too many products at the beginning of lockdown caused her skin to react negatively. “I was just using too many products and doing too many treatments, and my skin just kind of reacted great to simplifying things,” she said, which is where Honest’s mask comes into play.
Perfect for oily, sensitive, dry or aging skin, this do-it-all mask includes jeju volcanic ash and activated charcoal to draw out impurities from the skin and hide the look of enlarged pores. Also in the formula is manuka honey and shea butter to leave the face feeling smooth and supple sans any signs of stripping. If Dewan says it does the job, we have nothing left to do but add it to our collection.
