My First Foray Into Color
“Growing up, both of my parents were (and still are) environmentalists, so I learned to love nature and all things that natural beauty comprises. They taught me reverence for nature’s design. My mother never wore makeup and the thought of wearing makeup didn’t even cross my mind until I started modeling. I learned that just a little bit of makeup can go a long way, especially when you wear it the right way and avoid the wrong types of ingredients and chemicals.”

“I don’t view aging as a bad thing or something that I’m opposed to, it’s just what happens. I try to make friends with everything about my body and skin and embrace it, including changes and some of the signs that come along with aging.”
My Secret To Staying In Shape
“As much as I hate to admit this, my main form of exercise is chasing after my two small daughters. But, in a broader sense, I eat healthy for the most part—lots of kale, seaweed and protein shakes, but I do have a weakness for pizza—and I drink as much water as physically possible every day, especially if I’m traveling.”
