It’s a borderline requirement for celebrities to arrive at red-carpet events looking flawless from head to toe—literally. Not only do they hire makeup artists and aestheticians to meticulously ensure that their face looks good, but they also work hard to make sure that their body looks amazing as well. Case in point: Faith Hill at this year’s CMA Awards.
Hill, who performed with her husband at the award show, wore a floor-length dress with a rather high slit going up her right side, exposing one gleaming, ultra-toned leg. Unsurprisingly, fans were mesmerized by Hill’s glistening leg, but it turns out all that smooth skin and defined muscle got a little boost from makeup artist Francesca Tolot.

According to an interview with Refinery29, Tolot slathered on Wonderskin Skin Perfected Body Foundation ($30) to make Hill’s leg look top-knotch for her performance. “I needed a product that would give flawless coverage and illuminate the skin, and it definitely had to be transfer-free,” Tolot said in the interview.
While it may not make sense to be applying body foundation on a day-to-day basis, it’s still a good trick to keep in mind for special events. Considering how perfectly it blurs imperfections, adds a soft shine and fakes the illusion of muscles, we’ll certainly be giving this one a try.
