Ever wonder what goes on in the wellness world of Eric André? We didn’t either—until we had the chance to pick the 39-year-old comedian’s brain—he’s currently backing BIC’s new anti-clogging EasyRinse razor—on what goes on in the self-care department during his day-to-day.
Why this partnership?
“I’ve been struggling with shaving for many years—a lot of clogging! BIC was not only the ideal partner, but the ideal way to get over my clogging conundrums by launching EasyRinse, its newest anti-clogging razor with the ‘All Shave, No Clog’ campaign.”
Is there anything “out-there” you do for self-care?
“Besides shaving with a sensible razor, I’m trying to get better about sleep hygiene, meditating, and journaling. I go to therapy, I walk, and I exercise. When all else fails, I drink a couple daquiris. I’m also taking Ashwagandha supplements because somebody at a party told me it’s good for you. A total stranger could tell me anything and I’ll believe it.”
Do you have any holy grail self-care or skin-care products?
“Besides the BIC EasyRinse razor ($18), I use a little Kiehl’s lotion on my face when I’m feeling fancy. When it’s real dry out in the wintertime, I use coconut oil on my body.”
What self-care habit are you not so great at doing?
“My sleep hygiene could be better. I need to not look at screens so much all day every day, especially before bed. I wish I had better sleep hygiene. Something happened in quarantine where my sleep sucked. Now, I don’t know if it’s part of getting older or the anxiety and stress of quarantine.”
