As the sole plastic surgeon at Dermatology Associates of Rochester, Dr. Calvin Young says he’s in a unique position to help patients with a variety of aesthetic concerns. “My scope ranges from facial plastic surgery to breast and body work,” he explains. “Many of my patients start out coming to us for a skincancer screening, an acne treatment or a nonsurgical anti-aging procedure, but when it comes time to consider a rhinoplasty, facelift or Mommy Makeover, that’s when I come in.” Having an AAAASF-certified operating room allows him to provide a personal touch in a boutique-style environment. “When someone decides to undergo surgery to improve something about themselves, it’s often the moment they are finally putting themselves first after taking care of everyone else,” he explains.
