It’s been quite a year for pimple-popping videos. We’ve seen Dr. Pimple Popper take a swing at popping some of the most cringe-worthy blemishes known to mankind, blackhead extraction videos have mesmerized us and now we’re starting 2017 off with a “30-year-old cyst explosion” video that’s sure to leave you feeling slightly nauseated.

The video features a man in Kelowna, Canada who had a cyst on his back that was three decades old. Someone, assumably a professional, then squeezes the cyst until it pops, expelling everything—and we mean everything—from its center. The person filming the video, along with bystanders who came to watch, all begin screaming at the sight, exclaiming how “disgusting” and “gross” it looks.

Before you view the unsightly video, it’s important to know what a cyst actually is. Cysts are pretty common and grow relatively slowly (hence, why this man may have left the cyst on his back for so long). To put it simply, cysts are essentially a closed pocket of tissue that’s filled with fluid or pus, but unless they’re treated in a doctor’s office, they typically don’t go away on their own.

The cyst seen in this particular video only takes about 36 seconds to fully expel itself, but we doubt anyone needs any longer than that to view this. One thing to remember before watching: You should never attempt to pop a cyst at home. Always consult your doctor for the best treatment of any blemishes you come across on your body.
