It’s been called “Sephora on steroids” and last month’s Las Vegas rendition of Cosmoprof North America certainly lived up to its reputation. With rows and rows of beauty exhibitors from across the globe, the storied trade show halls are the place to discover new skin care, hair products, makeup, nails and more. And with 26,000 visits from attendees representing 105 countries and nearly 1,200 exhibitors from 45 countries, the sheer numbers are staggering. (Case in point: It just took me two weeks to make my way through the box of Cosmoprof product and pamphlets that journeyed from the desert into my East Coast hands.) Here are some of our favorite finds from the show.
BEJOU
I really enjoyed chatting with Carolina Lopez, a chemical and material science engineer from Colombia, and I’ve been enjoying using her multitasking product back at home. Drawing on Latin American botanicals, BEJOU’s Hydrating Dew Moisturizer contains the key ingredient of chontaduro, a fruit native to Colombia that is high in vitamins A and C. The antioxidant powerhouse helps to brighten skin, reduce inflammation, prevent free-radical damage and promote a healthy skin barrier. It’s so good, it even won a Cosmoprof award.
Biotic Brightening Probiotic Deodorant
I’m late to this amazing deodorant (it’s already available on Amazon and at Urban Outfitters), but I’d be remiss to say I wasn’t completely impressed by how well it works. The 99% natural option not only supports the microbiome to neutralize stink-causing bacteria, but it also helps with under-arm discoloration.
Nu Standard Drink N Go Hair & Scalp Hydrator
It can be tough to test supplements at a trade show, but Nu Standard‘s booth was a popular Cosmoprof hangout for some mid-day hydration. The power-packed powder includes marine collagen and an infusion of coconut water, taurine, vitamins and minerals to help hydrate and energize your scalp at the cellular level. Plus, it’s delicious.
Skipper Shower Cap
Shower caps aren’t easy to make chic, but Skipper‘s founder Gillian Thomson seems to have cracked the code. Earning both a chemistry degree and hairstyling license, Thomson’s idea for a better shower cap—one that is comfortable, adjustable, washable, and pretty much lasts forever—is genius.
Antevorta Laboratories The Hydrating Intimate Cleansing Gel
Powered by Traditional Chinese Medicine ingredients, Antevorta Laboratories was a new-to-me brand that offers intimate care. As the company explains, the product’s pH-balanced Cleansing Gel is “just potent enough” to remove buildup of odor-causing bacteria and prevent dryness, itchiness, and irritation—without disrupting the vulva’s natural self-cleansing systems.
Bright Girl by Angela Casey MD
The teen skin-care craze hasn’t gotten the most positive PR, but Bright Girl is hoping to change all that. Developed by dermatologist and parent Angela Casey, Day+Bright 24-Hour Facial Moisturizer is a lightweight moisturizer specifically formulated for teens and tweens. This sensitive-skin adult loves it too, as it provides really beautiful hydration without clogging pores. Even better, the brand is big on providing derm-delivered skin-care education for its young demographic on its site.
Nine Glow Pre-Workout Anti-Pollution Serum
Inspired by its founder’s struggles with irritation and breakouts after working out, Nine Glow is “skin care for when you sweat.” Formulated with nine antioxidants, the single-SKU line has a whole bunch of great ingredients, including vitamin C, niacinamide, astaxanthin, coenzyme Q10, and green tea extract. Besides delivering a health glow, the antioxidant cocktail also helps prevent redness, irritation and dehydration, as it simply makes skin look better.

I had heard whispers of how good this styling tool was, but seeing it in action (and how much the team members believe in it) was pretty amazing. It’s lightweight, makes your style last and, above all, is actually easy enough for those of us who aren’t so great with hair tools.
Jeuneora GoLightly Plump & Protect Cream
What this New Zealand brand is doing in the refill and recycling space really blew my mind. The program is free to use, and the company turns its empties into outdoor furniture and playgrounds. The products are really good, too—offering that lightweight, stay-all-day hydration everyone wants.
Eve V
Sadly, you can’t take this Singapore-based invention home, but we’re hoping we see it doc’s offices in the states soon. Equipped with five light cameras, Eve V is a 3D panoramic AI skin-analysis device that can capture high-definition 3D portraits within 25 seconds. It then analyzes more than 40 facial contours and skin dimensions to help target what you might need skin care and treatment-wise.
