Just two months after giving birth to her adorable son Miles, Chrissy Teigen took to Instagram stories to celebrate her post-partum body, sharing all the physical changes she’s undergone lately. In an honest and unfiltered video, the supermodel scans her naked body while talking about her stretch marks: “I guess these just aren’t gonna go away. This is my new body.”

The cookbook author and new mom of two also shared a picture of her and John kissing while on vacation, showing off her body while only wearing bikini bottoms.

However, it wasn’t just Teigen’s photos that inspired fans, she also opened up about her insecurities in a Twitter post, writing, “I know how hard it can be to forget what (for lack of a better word) regular ol’ bodies look like when everyone looks bonkers amazing. Also I don’t really call this “body confidence” because I’m not quite there yet. I’m still super insecure. I’m just happy that I can make anyone else out there feel better about themselves!”

Fortunately, Teigen isn’t the only supermodel to open up about the reality of a post-partum body lately, Victoria’s Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel did as well recently. Hopefully, other celebrities will take note of their admirable social media posts and start applauding their post-partum bodies too in order to help alleviate the pressure women feel to immediately “bounce back” after giving birth. After all, they did just perform the miracle of life, so enough with the unrealistic beauty standards, alright?
