A short-list of things Chrissy Teigen is known for: her candid nature, sense of humor, modeling career, EGOT husband—can’t forget Mr. John Legend—and of course her smooth, glass-like skin. While recently posting her evening skin-care routine on Instagram, Teigen could not stop raving about one product in particular: a little bottle of plum oil.
“Nova [Nova Kaplan, Teigen’s makeup artist] gave me this tiny bottle. I tried it, and I have SO many face oils, so I didn’t really believe it, but when I tell you I woke up and my skin was plump and supple and even—it was like magic.”
Like us, Teigen has used some of her extra time at home to experiment with new products. “I thought she [Kaplan] was giving me a little sample of something her friend made or something, but turns out it is real and for sale, and this is not an ad. It’s called Le Prunier,” Teigen says, trying to pronounce it correctly. “It’s 100-percent pure plum oil made in California.”
“I use it all day. If I’m not wearing makeup, I just put it on and let my face soak it up. I wanted to share because it changed me and everyone always asks what I use, and it’s this. Sometimes I’ll try to keep it in by using a cream that I pat on, but sometimes I leave it just like this,” Teigen says, rubbing the oil into her skin. “It’s holy. It’s amazing.”
