Globally-loved skin-care brand CeraVe has announced a major expansion into hair care. Harnessing dermatologist-developed skin solutions, the brand’s new category hits shelves today, exclusively on Walmart.com. 

Understanding that an estimated 50 percent of Americans suffer from dandruff, CeraVe Haircare aims to reinvent the hair category through its range of Anti-Dandruff and Gentle Hydrating Shampoos and Conditioners. The range marries the brand’s meticulous formulation charter with L’Oréal’s 100-plus years of hair-care expertise to alleviate scalp irritation and deliver soft and healthy hair.

Utilizing skin-identical ceramides, CeraVe Haircare is clinically proven to treat dandruff and scalp discomfort, while leaving hair feeling nourished. According to the brand, more than 93 percent of testers experienced a healthy-feeling scalp and hair and 92 percent of testers agreed that hair felt hydrated.

The collection includes the Anti-Dandruff Shampoo ($10), Anti-Dandruff Conditioner ($10), 2-in-1 Anti-Dandruff Shampoo & Conditioner ($10), Gentle Hydrating Shampoo ($9) & Gentle Hydrating Conditioner ($9).

Free from sulfates, MIT, parabens and fragrance, all five of the products are allergy-tested and suitable for sensitive scalps, as well as all hair types, curl patterns and color-treated hair.
