The Return of Patchouli—the Best 2024 Launches

For too long, patchouli was relegated to hippies in bell bottoms and earthy tree huggers, but it eventually found its way into luxe, woody perfumes that transcended borders. The strong, sweet, spicy scent reminiscent of wet soil is divine on its own but also plays nicely with other notes. We noticed a handful of fragrances launched in 2024 featuring patchouli, so we’re declaring the scent very much back. Don’t call it a comeback, but you need one of these patchouli-laced scents in your fragrance wardrobe expeditiously.
