The 2019 edition of Cosmoprof—aka, “Sephora on steroids”—held in Las Vegas last week did not disappoint. More than 40,000 visitors, 14,000 exhibitors and a whole lot of CBD products and face masks (and that’s just scratching the surface!) filled the halls at Mandalay Bay Convention Center. The hardest part: Trying to see it all—and battling sore feet after walking many, many miles to boot. But someone has to do it. Here are our 13 favorite finds from this year’s show.

There’s an almost-ready-for-market mineral sunscreen (shhhh…) in the works that we got to test but, as we wait with bated beauty breath for the nearly-invisible formula to hit, we’ll use ALL the things from fresh-ingredient brand Sioris, including the glow-inducing Time Is Running Out Mist ($22).
Your daily dose of cold-pressed coconut oil just got a whole lot easier with Australian-born brand Tonik. The minimalist-chic line wants to take wellness seriously, and has a bunch of different easy-to-swallow supplements to prove it.
Masks are still having a moment and this Ayurvedic-inspired, results-driven dry mask line is major. Good scents, good ingredients and the coolest bamboo jars give a ton of benefits—including better skin.
The best way to test out a line that claims it can hydrate? Apply it in the dead-of-summer dry Vegas air. If it works—and these tiny tubes from Denmark-born brand Vilact most certainly do—it’s a keeper.
Polish skin care brands were making a splash at Cosmoprof and one of our favorites was this holistic line that’s big at Sephora in the country (bonus: the company has an online store and delivers to the U.S.). It’s totally natural, totally vegan, powered by plant hydrosols (NOT water), and has the most magical mix of pure essential oils that smell like a spa.
Bottleless beauty was also big at the show, as the popularity of Arencia’s booth showed. Its tiny Shampoo Bars ($15) are super fun and effectively help the environment (and your hair and body) in the process. Plus, they’re pretty much perfection for travel.
CBD fan favorite Kuida stole the scene with its superbly hydrating lotion and luxe formulations that checked off the skin and body care categories.
Bella Aura Rapid Repair Clarifying Elixir
The modern-looking bold bottles of Canadian brand Bella Aura have a whole lot of skin-perfecting goodness inside. The just-launched Clarifying Elixir ($99)—full of antibacterial, non-drying micro silver—is just one of the “musts,” but we’re pumped to get a full lineup going.
Another must-try in the mask department came these fresh juice–inspired eco-friendly pouches of antioxidants and vitamins that are so good, they seriously mimic a facial.
The brand has a super hydrating facial oil, but it’s the Super Boost ($44) powder supplement that made us stop and pay attention. The cacao-powered superfood mix promises to help you swap your morning coffee with a healthier alternative—and the fact that we were still going after a long trade show day with a bit of jet-lag to contend with proved the point.
More masks! This dual-sided, chemical-free variety from Urang offers a twist on the standard with a split system—one side is the actual mask, the other the essence—which ensures freshness.
The ingredient of cactus was also having a moment in the spotlight and Yadah is taking full advantage with its Toner Pads ($22) that exfoliate, hydrate and cleanse all in one swipe.
