Pinning this matter as “an accumulation of challenges,” Becca Cosmetics announced the shutdown is occurring in September of 2021. According to a recent Instagram post, one of its biggest challenges was the impact of COVID. “The global pandemic has had an impact on everyone around the world on many levels,” writes the brand. “It has also had a tremendous impact on so many businesses.”
This is an devastating time for the brand and for all of its loyal followers and collaborators, but it has left behind a great impact, as seen in the comments section of its recent post. One follower writes “This is so sad ?❤️ I am such a fan since day one, of everything you do and it’s heartbreaking to see Becca go. Thank you for all the love, support and amazing products you’ve created for us throughout the years,” while another comments “I ❤️ you Becca.. you will not be forgotten.”
