Following the success of last year’s award-winning partnership, BIC EasyRinse is reuniting with television star, Broadway actress and New York Times best-selling author Ariana Madix to celebrate her personal renaissance. In a two-part video series titled “Unclogged Era,” the Vanderpump Rules star shares her self-care secret on how BIC EasyRinse razors are a “game-changer.” Besides a smoother shave, Madix also gave us the lowdown on what it’s like living in her new city of New York (you can currently see her in Chicago) and the skin-care products she’s been snagging from her boyfriend.
This is your second time partnering with BIC EasyRinse. What makes you a fan of the brand?
BIC EasyRinse and I had this really fun, award-winning brand partnership last year and we were able to create this really cheeky content. This year, we’re continuing the partnership, and I absolutely love the product. The anti-clogging technology is a total game-changer and allows me to experience a faster shave giving me time back in my busy schedule. And so, the combination of the product and content is why I love to partner with them.
What are some of your all-time favorite beauty products?
I love the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask ($24). I also love any kind of sheet mask for my face.
Between your filming schedule and Broadway, what are some beauty products you use to take off the makeup at night?
I use the Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm ($36). It’s a more gentle makeup removing process. With my Chicago show schedule, I’m putting on heavy makeup eight times a week. My skin is not used to that, so I wanted something that was going to take off the makeup, but that wasn’t going to be too harsh. And I feel like the balm is more moisturizing. I’ve been using Cosrx Snail Mucin moisturizer ($16). It’s actually my boyfriend’s, but I like it a lot.
Are there any beauty regrets you have when you look back at your earlier Vanderpump appearances.
There was a lot of sad eyeliner that I don’t love. There are a lot of outfits that I don’t love, but I try to forgive myself for going with whatever was cool at the time.
I have hooded eyes, so I like to try and do winged eyeliner, but it can look crazy. So, trying to do winged eyeliner back in the day before I discovered this batwing technique on TikTok did not look good.
What do you do for wellness and to stay level-headed?
I’m constantly, if I can be, in a state of rest as much as possible. I walk as much as possible in New York City and I love doing it. It’s raining today so, sadly, not today, but on days like this, I watch T.V., and I rest, and I try to pick funny TikToks.
Are there any derm treatments you love?
I mean, I love getting a facial. I love a microdermabrasion moment for my skin. Honestly, anytime I go somewhere for a facial, I just say, “Gimme the works, whatever it is, do it all!” I haven’t done laser, but I want to try that.
