Nowadays, the everything shower is pretty much the epitome of an at-home self-care routine, transforming your bathroom into a fully functional spa with each everything shower you take. What started as just a term referring to a shower that encompasses your exfoliating and shaving routine, the everything shower has quickly turned into a multi-step, luxurious self-care practice that even celebrities are getting in on.
Maybe it’s just me, but there is something about Alix Earle’s beauty-related TikToks that I just can’t peel my eyes away from, so whenever the influencer reveals more of her beauty routine, I’m locked in. In a recent interview with Allure, the social media star walked readers through her own everything shower routine, which features this $13 body wash.
Alix Earle’s Everything Shower Routine
At this point, we’re pretty familiar with Earle’s skin-care and makeup routines, but her bath and body-care products are ones we see less of. While the beauty influencer usually uses high-end, luxury products, she also knows that keeping it simple is often the best way to go. “When I’m taking an ‘everything shower’ I usually start with body wash to clean everything and make sure my hands are clean,” she told Allure. “I love the Aveeno body wash ($13) because I have really sensitive skin; there’s one that’s fragrance-free. I usually use a loofah with the body wash.”
In terms of the rest of her everything shower lineup, she adds, “I wash my hair in the shower, so I’ll do my whole shampoo and conditioner routine, wash my face, and then I shave [my legs] using the Men’s Gillette Proglide Razor ($19). Sometimes before shaving, I use the OUAI Scalp & Body Scrub ($40) to exfoliate my skin.”
