Penelope Cruz stunned on the Oscars red carpet with her all-copper-everything look. Lucky for us, celebrity makeup artist Hung Vanngo delivered on the behind-the-scenes-intel front on his Instagram shortly after she walked the carpet. Here, everything Vanngo used on the Everybody Knows actress.
Skin-Care Staples
To prep Cruz’s complexion for makeup—and the cameras—Vanngo first applied the Renergie Lift Multi-Action Ultra Sheet Mask from Lancôme, followed by a dose of the Advance Genifique Youth Serum, Renergie Lift Multi-Action Ultra Face Cream SPF 30 and Multi-Action Eye Cream.
All About That Base
The secret to keeping makeup in tip-top shape on Hollywood’s biggest night? The ultimate stay-put trio: Lancôme’s Prep & Hydrate Primer, Long Time No Shine Loose Setting Powder and Fix It Forget It Setting Spray.
To create an even tone, Vanngo opted for the Renergie Lift Makeup Foundation SPF 27 in 350 Dore coupled with the Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage Concealer in 215 Buff. To add some life to Cruz’s skin, Vanngo used a combination of the Teint Idole Ultra Blur & Highlight Duo Stick in Light Pink, Blush Subtil in Cedar Rose and Star Bronzer in Sunkiss.

The Eyes Have It
To shape the actress’ brows, Vanngo used the Lancôme Brow definer pencil in Brown, and a coat of Sourcils Styler in Brun on top. To prep the eyes for the sultry shadow look, step one consisted of Prime it Boost It Eyeshadow Primer to grip she pigment and minimize fallout. Then, it was the Hypnose 5-color eyeshadow palette in Terre de Sienne. Vanngo mixed two liner shades together—Le Stylo Waterproof Eyeliner in Bronze Folie and Bruns Frivole—before coating lashes with Hypnose Drama Mascara.
Lip Service
To create the her-lips-but-better pout at home, simply combine Lancôme’s Le lip liner in Ideal And L’Absolu Rouge Ruby Cream Lipstick in Coeur De Rubis.
