Venturing into your 30s and 40s can bring about some serious changes for your body, which is why a healthy diet should be a top priority as you make your way into these crucial decades. Maybe you’ve already noticed deepening crow’s-feet, or perhaps you’ve started to feel a few more aches and pains than you did in your 20s—either way, a well-rounded diet complete with a lineup of youth-boosting supplements could help improve both how you look and feel.
However, it can be hard to know which supplements you should be adding to your routine at this age, so we asked celebrity nutritionist, Kelly LeVeque—her clients include Jessica Alba and Molly Sims—for her top choices.

“I love CoQ10 and a curcumin—they’re both antioxidants, so they work great if you’re looking to anti-age,” LeVeque says. “CoQ10 is known to help mitochondrial health and boost cellular energy, and as we age, you want to keep your mitochondria working efficiently because they’re the energy powerhouse inside every cell in your body.” Additionally, coQ10 can protect skin against environmental stressors and free radicals, deterring any damage that can accelerate the aging process.
“Curcumin—another good option—is the active ingredient inside turmeric and super anti-inflammatory,” adds LeVeque. Furthermore, curcumin has been proven to have a few under-the-radar health perks; most notably that it might be able to reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s.
“Once my clients reach 30 or 35, I add these two options to their supplement lineup,” says LeVeque. So, if you haven’t given these supplements a try already, it might be a good time to do so. You’ll benefit both physically and aesthetically, which sounds like a serious win in our book.
