Endotines are the key to most of today’s short-scar facelifts. They look like a little tab of Velcro, and also come in ribbon form to anchor facial tissues of the brow, midface and jowls. What’s more, even permanent endotines can generally be removed, repositioned or replaced in subsequent lifts. Shorter incisions can allow for some skin to be removed, but in general, a short scar is for those who don’t need sagging skin reduced.
