Taking to Instagram just this morning to welcome the new year (after admittedly taking several days to recover), Lipa dove head first into 2025 with a brand new mani, skyrocketing midnight blue to the top of our manicure color list.

Dua Lipa has been known to set manicure trends with her moody, almond-shaped sets. It’s clear already that 2025 will be no different. While she celebrated the last days of 2024 with a sheer, nude nail look, Lipa’s New Year’s Eve aesthetic was all about blue, rocking an itsy bitsy navy top paired with a next-level, deep blue fur coat. The cherry on top of this monochromatic cake? The singer’s midnight blue manicure.
At first glance, Lipa’s signature almond-shaped nails looked black to me, but on further zooming and vibe assessing, it seems that the “Levitating” singer went for a matching dark blue for her manicure to ring in the new year. If you’re not one to go for a sparkly mani for the new year, take inspiration from Lipa and try your hand (no pun intended) at a midnight mani in 2025.
